About
Actually this spot is quite popular. Every March hundreds of photographers flock to this exact spot, all hoping to get the best photo of the sakura tunnel. Not only do each of the photographers have to wait their turn, but since there are hundreds of people out to enjoy the blossoms, we have to wait for them to stop walking into our shots. Completely worth it, though.
Specifically, these are Someiyoshino (So-may-yo-she-no), one of the whiter kinds of Sakura, the most popular kind in Japan and also a relatively new one having only been created towards the end of the Edo Period. I have hundreds of Sakura photos and I try to leak them out every few weeks. Go look at previous shots.
